Owen goes to church

Today was Owen's first day at church. People really liked his onsie with his tie that Cami made for him. He was a REALLY good baby! He slept the whole time and woke up just once to poop all over. Hopefully he'll be this good next week when we bless him.

We start with his Sunday shoes

Then the shirt....

Then the pants that are too big for him....

Then the hair which YES I did put hair spray in.

Other Sunday activities

Next time maybe we'll have you all listen to what Owen sounds like when he sleeps or just breathes. He sounds like a goose.

Here Reuben decided that Owen should try on his wrestling belt that we use when people win games at our house :)

One Year!

One Year ago today, Reuben and I were sealed in the Newport Beach Temple for time and all eternity. SO MUCH has happened since then that it seems like a lot more than a year.

Reuben's whole family came out which was great!
Here is us with his siblings.
My family, grandma and aunt were there too.
Here are my siblings and also lil Heather
Reuben and I took TONS of pictures down at the beach. Corona Del Mar to be exact.

We were so excited to finally be married as you can tell.
Love yellow!

I wasn't running away, don't worry.

And so we go. One year later we are living out in South Jordan in a new house with a new little baby. Many say the first year is full of adjustments and is tough. Perhaps it was serving a mission that taught me to let the little things go or maybe it was that I got pregnant right away so most mood changes were blamed on that, but this past year has been great. Nothing beats having your best friend there all the time. It's been so fun- I can't wait to see what new adventures we have this year!
Love you Reuben :)

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was sure fun. Owen was a pal and let me sleep in. Then Reuben made me french toast in bed!!!

Owen is quite the chill baby and didn't fuss all day.

Later Reuben had me play Wheel of Fortune that he made on his computer to help me discover my gift: tickets to go home in June! Thanks Reuben:)

Here is our first attempt at a family picture.. maybe next time we'll have my dad take it.

Laser Pictures

We can't wait until Owen goes to elementary school so he can get some cool Laser Background pictures. We actually can't wait, so we decided to make our own. Enjoy.

Owen wishes he had been born in the 80s.

Unfortunately, Kira never had the opportunity to have a Laser Background picture in school. We wanted to give her that opportunity.
